Materials:

You can download the materials HERE

Put the images in your picture tube folder, the plugins in your pluginfolder, and the gradient in your gradientfolder.

You dont have to install the fonts if you dont want to, just click on them to open when you're gonna use them for this tutorial.

Create a new image 640 x 480 pixels, flood fill with the gradient Mah_Red Satin and duplicate this layer.

Use Effects – VM Instant Art – Papercut

on the duplicate and set blend mode to luminance Legacy and opacity to 30.

Merge visible.

Copy paste the tube sexylady-lb29[1] as a new layer.

Move the tube to the right side (see example)

Effects – Xero – Porcelain

Effects - 3D effects - Drop Shadow: 5, 5, 60, 15 colour black

Repeat drop shadow, but with horizontal and vertical offset set to -5

Merge visible.

Font Broadway, size 30, foreground colour white, background colour locked. Write ‘Merry’

and adjust (drag) the text a bit (see example).

Convert to raster layer, and duplicate. In layer palette, merge down.

Effects - 3D effects - Drop Shadow: 1, 1, 100, 1, colour black.

Font BickhamScriptFancy2, size 120, foreground colour locked, background colour white.

Write ‘Christmas’, convert to raster layer and add drop shadow like the other text layer.

Repeat drop shadow, but now with horizontal and vertical offset set to -1.

Copy and paste the tube ccwreath2 as a new layer, resize 60 % and add drop shadow 2, 2, 60, 20, colour black.

Place it under the text like example image. Effects, xero – porcelain, same settings as before.

Add Borders, 1 pixel, colour #e2edec

Add border, 30 pixels, colour #820000

Select the red border with magic wand, and choose effects, cybia – screenworks – settings like this:

Drop Shadow, settings like before. Do this twice. Then add drop shadow twice with horizontal and vertical offset set to -2.

Deselect.

Add Borders, 1 pixel, colour #e2edec

Duplicate background layer, select all, modify – contract by 32, invert selection and hit delete.

Selection invert, Effects – VM Instant Art – Lightlines, settings like below.

Effects – Transparency – Eliminate black

Blend mode – overlay, opacity 81.

Deselect

Add watermark if you want to, merge visible and save the image as jpg.
